Most of the recipes in this book my dogs loved. Well worth the buy.
Lots of good variety and simple!
After moving to Arizona, one of our dogs developed severe allergies. We found using the recipes in this book along with buying special dog food made a difference. We can only conclude that there must be a difference in West Coast vs. East Coast contents for dog food and treats. The book is well written and organized to fit into a busy schedule.
I don't often give only one star for a book of any kind but that is all this one deserves. Actually no stars.
I expected healthy dog treats with an emphasis on organic ingredients, based on the title. Instead,this book is filled with strange combinations of ingredients in most of the "recipes" with the organic aspect being more of just a pitch in the title.
Cakes for dogs??? Sugar, flour, corn dogs...what was this author thinking?
I hope no dog owner is gullible enough to take these ideas seriously. Some very unhealthy recommendations, that's for sure .
